Fall fest Saturday in Rolling Meadows

Rolling Meadows will host its 3rd annual Hometown Hoedown Fall Fest Saturday, Oct. 6, featuring live country music, square dancing, horse-drawn hayrides and other family-friendly activities.

The event, from noon to 5 p.m. at Kimball Hill Park, also will feature face painting, a balloon artist, bubble show, bounce house, mini golf, photo tent and kids games and crafts.

Kids entertainer Miss Jamie at the Farm performs at 1:30 p.m., followed by country music at 2:30 p.m. Food will be available for purchase.

Some 500 people attended the event last year.
