What are the odds? Cribbage club draws special hand, twice

At a recent gathering of the Sun City Cribbage Club, a special hand came up not just once, but twice.

Marian Mesenbrink had 4 spades, 5 clubs, 6 spades and 6 clubs and Ernie Yates had 4 diamonds, 5 spades, 6 hearts and 6 diamonds, and a 5 of hearts for the cut card.

Both hand totals make 24-point hands.

The odds of one person getting this hand is .0283 percent out of 12,994,800 deals. That is one for the books!

Can you figure the odds of two people playing each other with both of them have the identical 24-count hand?

The club is trying to figure out those odds. Perhaps a reader could help?
