Misplaced sentiment

It seems to me that instead of Bill Day's Statue of Liberty crying for a burned Catholic building, as depicted in a recent editorial cartoon, she should be crying for all the abused children the Catholic Church has denied, covered up and allowed to occur.

What a misplaced sentiment.
