SUV crashes into Buffalo Grove garage

A small SUV crashed into an attached garage Saturday afternoon in Buffalo Grove, causing minor damages, authorities said.
The vehicle, driven by a house guest, damaged the garage door and took off some drywall from the structure, according to Lt. Russ Anderson of the Buffalo Grove Fire Department.
Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched to the 2-story single family house near the intersection of Twisted Oak and Castlewood lanes at 1:34 p.m.
The driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to the hospital as a precaution, Anderson said.
No one else was in the car or near the garage at the time of the accident, he said.
