Leaders are going too far with health rules

The Democrats just can't get over losing the election and would have you believe that the nation is 70% on their side when no less than 50% of our country completely believes differently than them in almost every way.

The governor and Chicago mayor may have started off with good intentions, but they have gotten way too big for their britches sending dictator-like commands and laws having no regard whatsoever for small businesses and picking and choosing who they feel are essential.

Who the heck do they think they are? We are grown adults and know what to do and not do and how to be respectful and how to practice proper distancing and infection control.

So please don't tell us that our state and country are going to be closed down forever, and only your rules are the right rules. What you saw happen in Michigan and Wisconsin can easily happen here because we are tired of it. Don't let the politicians in our state take away your freedoms.

There's a way to act responsibly and sensibly and then there's going too far, which is exactly what's happening now.

You cannot prevent people from working, playing sports or choosing entertainment, and we are mature enough to make our own decisions. Let our ridiculous Illinois government know when enough is enough or let's replace them.
