Algonquin Road to close in Des Plaines for bridge work

Algonquin Road between River Road and Oakton Street in Des Plaines will be closed starting April 25 so crews can repair a bridge there, officials announced.

The work zone will be closed to all vehicular and pedestrian traffic. Drivers should follow posted detour routes.

The closure will last about two weeks, weather permitting.
