Lake Zurich plans road resurfacing
About $1.5 million worth of road resurfacing projects have been announced in Lake Zurich. Officials said non-home-rule sales tax funds will be used for the annual local road improvement program this summer. Nearly three miles of streets will be improved in The Orchards, Mossley Hill Estates, Rand Estates and Jonquil Estates. Work will include pavement resurfacing, concrete repair and utility structure repair. Upon completion of the proposed improvements, the new pavement should have a service life of 15 to 20 years.
