Masnica's 17 points lead Elk Grove

Elk Grove junior guard Olivia Masnica poured home a game-high 17 points - all in the first half and including five 3-pointers - to help lead the Grenadiers' girls basketball team to s 47-35 win over Antioch at the Vernon Hills tourney on Monday night.

Teammate Megan Murray added 10 points followed by Alyssa Trausch (7) and Hannah Gryzik (6) as EG ran its record to 3-1 overall and in the tourney.
