DeVry journal highlights academic expertise, contributions

DOWNERS GROVE - DeVry University released the winter 2016 issue of its Journal of Scholarly Research, a collection of academic papers written by university faculty members.

The issue marks the fourth installment of the journal, which is published biannually.

"The Journal of Scholarly Research underscores the academic excellence our faculty bring to their fields," said Donna M. Loraine, Ph.D., chief academic officer and provost of DeVry University. "Their perspective provides a platform for conversation and creative thinking about education in the classroom and beyond."

A multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal, the Journal of Scholarly Research promotes academic and professional advancement of DeVry University faculty, staff and administration.

The journal also features a book review, a new letters to the editor section and a call for DeVry Brasil professors to submit articles.

"DeVry University offers world-class programs for students from diverse backgrounds and career paths," said John Gibbons, Ph.D., senior national dean of faculty of DeVry University. "By broadening the scope of the Journal 's contributors, we're able to share valuable research on a global scale."
