Input sought on future Diamond Lake in Mundelein

An open house regarding the future vision for Diamond Lake will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, at Mundelein village hall, 300 Plaza Circle.

The village is updating its comprehensive plan, which serves as a guide to assist the mayor, village trustees and staff with future decision-making. This open house will focus on the Diamond Lake area due to its unique characteristics and history.

A consultant team led by planning and design firm Kimley Horn, along with village planning staff, will facilitate the discussion. They are seeking input from village residents and stakeholders about a new vision for Diamond Lake.
