NAIA Division I women's tourney stays in Billings

BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - The NAIA Division I women's basketball tournament will be held in Billings through 2020.
Visit Billings and Rocky Mountain College announced the extension on Wednesday.
The 32-team, single elimination tournament was held at MetraPark in Billings in 2017 and 2018 and was contracted for March 13-19, 2019. The Billings Gazette reports the success of the previous tournaments led the organization to extend it through a fourth year, with the tournament running from March 18-24, 2020.
Beginning in 2021, the NAIA will merge Divisions I and II in both men's and women's basketball and hold a single, 16-team national tournament in each sport.
