Moroccan arrested in Spain for alleged jihadi recruiting
MADRID (AP) - Spain's Interior Ministry says police have arrested a Moroccan man who tried to recruit fighters for the Islamic State group from the Mediterranean city of Valencia.
The ministry says in a statement that the man used multiple social media profiles to attract sympathizers and was in contact with IS operatives in Syria and Iraq where fighting is underway.
The statement issued Tuesday didn't say when the man was arrested and didn't identify him.
