Bartlett police step up speed enforcement

The Bartlett Police Department will be participating in the Illinois Department of Transportation's Speed Enforcement Campaign beginning Saturday, Oct 6, and plans to continue doing so for the next 12 months.

The department's participation in this statewide traffic safety initiative was fully funded by a grant awarded by the Illinois Department of Transportation's Bureau of Safety Programs & Engineering, which aims to deter speed-related injuries and fatalities.

Bartlett police are encouraging motorists to slow down and drive safely, especially in residential neighborhoods and school and construction zones.
