Abusing broncos
Why in DuPage County is the abusive sport of "bronco busting" considered "great family fun and entertainment"? The DuPage County Fair promotes the 4-H Club, yet overlooks the suffering of poor innocent horses in this bronco busting event. Is this really a good example to our children of how to raise money for charity?
DuPage County should be promoting animal welfare and protection and not encouraging people to display animals in fearful distress for sport.
Next year, the DuPage County Fair should invest in a mechanical bull and be an example to other counties of a humane form of entertainment.
