A sign of the future

The photo of South Elgin President Steve Ward in Sunday's Daily Herald is picture perfect. It accompanied an article about the legal use of marijuana. Steve Ward is a proponent of allowing the sale of marijuana in his town once the law goes into effect.

In the photo, behind Steve, there is part of a huge banner which obviously reads "REST IN PEACE YOU WILL BE MISSED."

Steve, hang on to that banner. You will be using it often once our roads are full of people not only intoxicated but also driving high on legal marijuana.
