Boil order lifted for Libertyville Estates

A boil order issued Tuesday for the unincorporated North Libertyville Estates neighborhood has been lifted.

Customers in the neighborhood south of Route 137 near the Des Plaines River can return to normal water use. The boil order was issued as a precaution after a break on the primary water line in the area. Customers may have had reduced water pressure or no water running.

Samples were collected and tests have confirmed the water is free of coliform bacteria, according to the Lake County Public Works department.
