Wheat for July gained 30 cents at $6.9350 a bushel; July corn advanced 32 cents at 6.8875 a bushel, July oats was up 7.25 cents at 3.8475 a bushel; while July soybeans rose 18 cents at $15.8450 cents a bushel.
Beef was lower, pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Jun. live cattle fell 2.50 cents at $1.1337 a pound; Aug. feeder cattle lost 2.73 cents at $1.4862 a pound; while June lean hogs rose 1.47 cents at 1.1872 a pound.
