San Francisco's shame

Re: Your Page 11 article in the Dec. 1 issue on the verdict in the Kate Steinle killing.

Facts: 1. Zarate owned the gun; 2, Zarate shot and killed Kate Steinle; 3. He did not deny his actions.

Questions: 1. Who was on the jury and how were they chosen? 2. Who were the prosecutors and defense lawyers? 3. Why did a felon have a gun? 4. How did the jury know he had no intention of shooting her?

Comments: 1. San Francisco should be ashamed for siding with a killer, and it should be taken off the "sanctuary city" list. 2. Zarate should be deported to a prison in his native country (or an American prison) because he killed Kate Steinle.
