Adler Center in Libertyville hosts knit and crochet drop-in May 4

A Knit & Crochet Drop-in will be held from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, May 4, at the David Adler Music & Arts Center, 1700 N. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville.

The drop-in is one in a series in advance of the "Wrapped in Liberty" Yarnstorm, a community project to wrap trees, benches and fences downtown with colorful yarn on June 22. More than 100 local knitters and crocheters participated last year.

Beginners are welcome and any and all contributions created independently are accepted. Needed are 8-inch squares stitched in red, white and blue acrylic yarn. Follow on Facebook @Wrapped in Art-Libertyville or visit www.adlercenter.org/ for details.
