Des Plaines city officials and the North West Housing Partnership will be hosting a free homeowner seminar at the Des Plaines Public Library from 9:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 3.
The seminar is designed to help homeowners avoid risky situations and ensure long-term homeownership.
It will also help homeowners access home repair grants for low- to moderate-income homeowners.
