Expect traffic delays on West Galena Blvd. in Aurora

Construction on West Galena Boulevard will impact eastbound traffic flow for the next several months.

Crews will rehabilitate and replace the water main on West Galena Boulevard between Orchard Road and Edgelawn Drive.

As a result, eastbound traffic is reduced to one lane in the immediate area.

Additional traffic controls will be implemented as needed.

Access to businesses in the area will remain open during construction.

The project is scheduled for completion in November, conditions permitting.
