Rosemont mall celebrates Chinese New Year Saturday

The Fashion Outlets of Chicago mall in Rosemont will celebrate Chinese New Year on Saturday with a variety of games, activities and cultural performances.

At 1 p.m., the Xilin Association will host calligraphy, lantern making, mask making, a photo booth and fortune telling. Then at 2 p.m., the group will present traditional Chinese dance and musical performances and Kung Fu presentations. The games and activities will resume afterward until 3:30 p.m., mall officials said.

The mall is located at the Tri-State Tollway and Balmoral Avenue.
