Eby-Brown acquires Liberty, USA

NAPERVILLE - Eby-Brown Co. said it will acquire the assets of Liberty, USA based in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania.

Terms of the acquisition were not announced.

Liberty, USA is the largest independently owned convenience store supplier in Pennsylvania, serving 2,000 retail customers in the Midwest, Northeast and East Coast. Eby-Brown representatives said the purchase will strengthen it's presence in Pennsylvania and extend its distribution network into the Northeast.

The Pittsburgh facility will operate as Liberty, USA a division of Eby-Brown.
