Be 'Queen for a Day' with YWCA Elgin Aug. 13

On Saturday, Aug. 13, the YWCA Elgin will host the annual "Queen for a Day" event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Elgin Country Club.

This intergenerational event brings together mothers, daughters, grandmothers and granddaughters for a morning full of fun - featuring live music, entertainment, a kids craft, raffles and a brunch to benefit the YWCA Elgin's programs.

Each adult reservation comes with a chance to become the "Queen for the Day" or one of three "Ladies-in-Waiting," and each child reservation comes with a chance of being crowned the "Princess."

In addition to wearing the crown, each member of the Royal Court wins a gift basket full of prizes, including gift cards and jewelry.

Reservations are $25 for YWCA Elgin members, $30 for nonmembers and $15 for children ages 12 and under. Price includes buffet brunch and tea service.

Join them for a fun morning of friends, family and fellowship in support of the YWCA Elgin!

Queen for a Day sponsorship opportunities are available. All sponsors will be recognized in the program, during the event, in the YWCA Elgin newsletter and on the YWCA Elgin website. For more information about sponsorship opportunities or to make a reservation, visit YWCAElgin.org or call the YWCA Elgin at (847) 742-7930.
