Business conference set for May 21

NAPERVILLE - Fox Valley Score and North Central College Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship will host the 2016 Ideas to Profits - Entrepreneurship and Small Business Conference. It will be from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 21, at North Central's Wentz Concert Hall Fine Arts Center, 171 E. Chicago Ave., in Naperville.

Attendees also can sign up for free coaching with the successful, experienced business people of Fox Valley SCORE, a volunteer organization mentoring small business owners for over 50 years.

The event also features a Business Pitch contest, with entrants vying for a $5000 grand prize.

"This is a rare opportunity, in a single location, for Fox Valley entrepreneurs to meet and learn from a wide variety of successful business people," said Bob Hitchcock, Fox Valley Score coordinator of the event.
