Officials: Another 36 people die from COVID-19 in Indiana

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Indiana public health officials announced on Sunday that 36 more people have died from COVID-19, for an overall death toll of 4,383 people in the state.

The Indiana Department of Health announced 4,689 new confirmed cases. Since the beginning of the pandemic, there have been 210,374 confirmed cases of COVID-19.

State officials said another 246 probable deaths have been reported based on diagnoses, but for whom no positive test is on record.

More than 3.2 million tests have been conducted in Indiana. The number includes people who have had repeat tests.
