Hristova's double-double boosts Washington St. past Colorado

PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) - Borislava Hristova posted her third double-double of the season with 23 points and 10 rebounds and Washington State overwhelmed Colorado 74-48 on Sunday.

The Cougars (7-9, 2-3 Pac-12) took control in the decisive second quarter with an 11-0 run to build a 23-13 lead. Chanelle Molina started the run with a layup and finished it with a 3-pointer with Shir Levy adding a jump shot and a layup in between.

Washington State led 28-21 at halftime, extended the margin to 45-31 after three and then put Colorado in the rearview mirror scoring 29 in the fourth on 12-of-14 shooting (85.7 percent) including 4 of 5 from beyond the 3-point arc.

Molina finished with 18 points on 7-of-11 shooting, grabbed seven rebounds and tallied six assists. Maria Kostourkova scored 12 shooting 6 of 9 from the field and grabbed eight rebounds.

Quinessa Caylao-Do led Colorado (10-6, 0-5) with 18 points and Mya Hollingshed scored 14.
