No. 23 Arizona State women roll early, beat Middle Tennessee

MUFREESBORO, Tenn. (AP) - Freshman Robbi Ryan scored 13 points and No. 23 Arizona State cruised to a 69-48 victory over Middle Tennessee on Tuesday night for its fifth straight win.

Reili Richardson had eight points and made two 3-pointers, and Kelsey Moos scored seven points - all in the first half - to lead the Sun Devils' starters as they jumped out to a 43-20 halftime lead and cruised from there. Starter Sophie Brunner grabbed nine rebounds and chipped in four points.

Arizona State entered averaging 46 percent shooting during its current win streak. The Sun Devils made 24 of 43 field goals for 56 percent shooting against the Blue Raiders, but committed 24 turnovers.

Alex Johnson scored 21 points on 7-of-16 shooting to lead Middle Tennessee (2-5). Ty Petty had seven assists and six points.
