A power outage caused by a nearby car accident forced Benet's East Suburban Catholic game at Joliet Catholic to be postponed Friday night. It's rescheduled for 9 a.m. Saturday in Joliet.

In a matchup between winless teams, Wheaton Warrenville South broke a string of tough losses by notching its first victory of the season with Friday's 44-0 DuPage Valley win over Metea Valley.

Despite rushing for minus-7 yards to 308 yards on the ground by Lisle, Westmont capitalized on 5 Lisle turnovers to win the Old Plank Road Trophy for the first time since 2014, 18-14.
