Environmental contract on Wheeling agenda

The Wheeling Village Board meets Monday night to approve a one-year contract for creek and waterway maintenance, as well as to discuss other business.

The proposed deal with Clean Cut Tree Service of Grayslake is worth $30,000. The firm would be responsible for tree and brush maintenance along Buffalo Creek, Camp McDonald Creek, Echo Lake and elsewhere in town.

The meeting is set for 6:30 p.m. at village hall, 2 Community Blvd.
