Naper Settlement reopening

The Naper Settlement historical museum in Naperville is scheduled to reopen Tuesday, July 14, with general admission for the public until Aug. 23.

The museum is offering ticketed tours of the Martin Mitchell Mansion, as well as several new mobile tours and a sitewide walking tour to provide an overview of more than 30 buildings. Tours require advanced registration at the Pre-Emption House Visitor Center.

The Rita (Fredenhagen) and John Harvard Early Learning Playscape and splash pad will open with limited capacity and timed reservations. Registration for a 90-minute time slot is available at the Pre-Emption House. Cleaning will take place in between reservations.
