City of Elgin to offer designs for Abbott Park playground at July 30 meeting

The City of Elgin plans to replace the playground at Abbott Park and would like to hear from the residents of the neighborhood regarding the type of playground equipment they would like to see there.

Representatives from the City of Elgin Parks and Recreation Department will provide various playground designs for neighbors to consider and provide their input on.

Abbott Park is located at 100 Commonwealth Ave.

This community meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday, July 30, at Abbott Middle School, 949 Van St. Please enter through the main entrance.
