COVID-19 vaccine clinic at Naperville YMCA

About 500 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine will be administered Monday as the Fry Family YMCA in Naperville is converted into a one-day immunization clinic.

Residents over the age of 16 in Naperville and Will County can receive the first dose of the Pfizer shot from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the gymnasium of the YMCA at 2120 W. 95th St., according to a news release. Appointments are encouraged, but walk-in patients are also welcome.

Certified medical staff members will return May 24 to administer the second dose of the vaccine.

The clinic is organized by the YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago in partnership with state Rep. Janet Yang Rohr, a Naperville Democrat, who says she aims to serve her community by providing easy access to vaccines and "helping all of us begin moving past the pandemic."
