Letter: Justice being ignored
My disappointment with the federal law enforcement and justice systems is being reinforced daily. In just one individual instance, our former president: there can be little doubt that the system is and has been out for bid.
Through a business career marked by lawsuits and guilty pleas, unpaid lawyer's fees, deals based on outright lies, he nevertheless was allowed to run for office. An endeavor that he, in his fashion, discharged disgracefully, piling lies and ignorance on top of his own brand of hurray-for-me egotism. His followers, with seeming immunity, are continuing his legacy of lies and deceit to this day, acting as if they were patriotic and commendable.
I watch the legal system doing back flips to remedy and cover up their responsibility for the current vomitous political games and look like upright organizations while seemingly unable to find their backbones. Suits and countersuits being adjudicated by judges that he appointed for life and topping it all, a Supreme Court that is demonstrably devoid of ethics or the ability to interrupt the constitution in historical perspective.
