Feds need to take a stronger role
The federal government needs to take a stronger leadership position during this emergency. Burdening the governors with PPE distribution, etc. is a confederacy style of management. Works fine in peace time, not so much during crisis. Let's learn from our own CIvil War past - one of the South's major challenges was getting supplies where they were needed. Governors hoarded shoes in warehouses while other states' soldiers went barefoot. Perhaps the military, experts at logistics, should be employed.
