No injuries in Naperville fire

No one was injured in a residential fire in Naperville Sunday evening, according to a Naperville Fire Department news release.

Naperville firefighters responded to a call of a residential fire on the 1900 block of Lancaster Court shortly after 7 p.m. Sunday. Upon arrival, first responders discovered a fire in the laundry room of the two-story residence and were able to contain the blaze within 10 minutes.

An initial investigation found a factor in the fire to be a buildup of lint. Estimated damages were around $2,500, though the building was deemed habitable.
