Conroy turns back Kinzler to win another term in House 46

Democrat Deb Conroy appears to have retained her seat in the Illinois 46th House District.

Unofficial results show Conroy, of Villa Park, leading her Republican challenger, Gordon "Jay" Kinzler of Glen Ellyn, 17,834 to 12,833 in the unofficial tally with all 97 precincts reporting.

Conroy has promised to continue working to improve access to mental health case and to create a "more fair" income tax structure that is less of a burden on the middle class.

The 46th District includes all or parts of Carol Stream, Glendale Heights, Addison and Villa Park.
