Town-hall session on vaping Oct. 17 in Libertyville

State Rep. Mary Edly-Allen will be hosting a town-hall meeting on the dangers of vaping from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, at Libertyville High School, 708 W. Park Ave. in Libertyville.

The session will bring together an expert panel to discuss findings and provide information on vaping. The panel will include Lake County State's Attorney Michael Nerheim; Mundelein Police Chief Eric Guenther; Director of Health Policy for the Respiratory Health Association Matt Maloney; Tobacco Products Program Coordinator for Lake County Lea Bacci; and Adam Hergenrender, who was recently hospitalized due to vaping.
