Register now for Hoffman Estates Citizen Fire Academy

The 17th Hoffman Estates Citizen Fire Academy is an opportunity for residents of the village to experience and learn about the inner workings of their fire department.

Class members get the chance to participate in a variety of activities often performed by firefighters, and also will learn about home fire safety, CPR and the history of the Hoffman Estates Fire Department in a fun, relaxed environment.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, and reside, attend school or work in Hoffman Estates.

Classes will meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Sept. 7 through Nov. 9, at Fire Station 24, located at 5775 Beacon Pointe Drive. Class size is limited, and spots fill up quickly.
