Mundelein High concert

The Mundelein High School bands will present a concert Thursday, Feb. 9, at 7 p.m. in the Mundelein High School Auditorium, 1355 W. Hawley St., Mundelein. Admission is free and open to the public. The concert will feature the Mundelein High School Honors Wind Ensemble and Honors Symphonic Winds. Selections to be performed include "Variations on a Korean Folk Song" by John Barnes Chance, "Illumination" by David Maslanka, "Morning Alleluias for the Winter Solstice" by Ron Nelson, "Sun Dance" by Frank Ticheli, "Folk Dances" by Dimitri Shostakovich, "The Washington Post March" by John Philip Sousa, "Sleep" by Eric Whitacre, and "Lux Arumque" by Eric Whitacre.
