Are the departments well prepared for the next decade? What, if anything, should be changed? It is about time to seriously address this problem. What other issues, if any, are important to you as a candidate for this office? The Village Trustees have a fiduciary responsibility to Wheeling residents to act in our best interest, but instead they appear to have become subservient to the Village President, generally rubber stamping whatever he wants to do. Even when presented with damning evidence of questionable activities on his part, they set by quietly and ignore their responsibility, refusing to even acknowledge the possibility that mischief may be afoot. The facts are so obvious that no Trustee can claim to not know what is going on, for example, every month the trustees approve the credit card bills incurred by the Village President, but even though in recent times 26 different times his credit card charges were identified as "to be reimbursed" nobody askes a question about what is going on???Please name one current leader who most inspires you.Don't you dare publicize this!
