Lake County seeks feedback on Gurnee intersection project

The Lake County Division of Transportation is seeking public feedback on an improvement project at the intersection of Hunt Club Road and Washington Street in Gurnee.

The intersection has averaged more than 35 crashes per year from 2012 to 2016. The county is proposing adding new turn lanes at the intersection.

The county hosted a public meeting about the project on Dec. 10.
