Get Christmas cookies, candies at Mundelein church next week

Mundelein's Community Protestant Church will host its annual Christmas cookie and candy walk Dec. 2-3. The event will run from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, and 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 3, at the church, 418 N. Prairie Ave. Cookies will be available for $8 per pound and homemade candy will sell for $15 per pound. Collectibles will be for sale, too. Proceeds will benefit the church.
