Letter: Biden's policies are the true cause of inflation

The Biden Administration and the mainstream media keep trying to sell you on the idea that Putin's invasion has caused the steep rise in inflation - particularly oil and gas prices. Don't be a sap. Don't buy their line.

Most of the increases in price occurred in the first 12 months of Biden's term in office before the Russian invasion.

Here is real data: From January 2021 to January 2022, oil prices rose 58% from $54.77 to $86.51/barrel. During that same period, gasoline prices nationwide increased by 35% from $2.47 to $3.33/gallon. Overall inflation rate during the same period was 7%.

All of this occurred right after Biden closed the pipelines and restricted domestic oil and gas production and before the Ukraine invasion. Today's average gas price is $4.19/gallon. This is a 70% increase from January 2021, so over half of this total increase is due to federal government energy policies, not Russia's invasion.
