We can't give in to panic

We must end this lock-down in order to save lives and livelihoods. Being out of work or having to close your business for months on end is more than most people can tolerate. This is MUCH more than an inconvenience for most people. The stress of no income is more than people can take. Suicides and abuse are becoming more common. What does it matter if you save a life from the coronavirus, but that person has nothing to eat?

Even people in charge, like police officers, are strained when they are demeaned by having to enforce social distancing instead of fighting real crime. Even the mayor of Chicago looked stressed as she broke up an outside basketball game. This lock-down is bringing the totalitarian out of our leaders - including you, Governor Pritzker and you Mayor Lightfoot.

I agree with Dennis Prager who said that history will show that the global lockdown is the biggest mistake the world has made. Giving in to hype and panic is no way to run a city, state, country or world.
