Variety of media available in Algonquin's Art on the Fox show

The 11th Annual "Art on the Fox" fine art show featured artwork in a variety of media, including sculpture, painting, photography,

jewelry and glass.

Sponsored by the village of Algonquin and the Algonquin Public Arts Commission the free Father's Day weekend event also includes a "Foxes of Art on the Fox" contest, with more than 75 painted ceramic foxes on display and voted on during the event weekend.

While parents visited the art booths Saturday, children designed art in the Picasso Tent or got messy in hands-on demonstrations and activities.

The show continues Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Riverfront Park, 201 N. Harrison St., Algonquin.
