Pianist Jim Brickman returns to Batavia Fine Arts Centre

Composer and pianist Brickman will perform hits such as "Valentine," "Love of My Life," "Angel Eyes" and "If You Believe." This show is for all ages.
Brickman's distinctive piano style and live performances have revolutionized the popularity of instrumental music, making him a driving force behind modern American music. The solo pianist has 21 No. 1 albums and 32 Top 20 radio singles in Billboard Magazine. He has garnered two Grammy nominations, gospel music's Dove Award, two SESAC Songwriter of the Year Awards, and the Canadian Country Music Award. He also has a music scholarship named for him by his alma mater, the Cleveland Institute of Music.
Brickman started training in music at 5 years old. He didn't stop when his first piano teacher told him he "didn't have the knack for it." In fact, he progressed even more from then on, going on to create his own unique brand of musical storytelling.
"Jim Brickman: Share the Love" will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8. at the Batavia Fine Arts Centre, 1201 Main St.
