Grain higher, livestock mixed

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were higher Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery was 4.50 cents higher at $4.7740 a bushel; May corn was 1.50 cents higher at $3.8260 bushel; May oats was 3.25 cents higher at $1.94 a bushel; while May soybeans gained 17.50 cents to $9.7160 a bushel.

Beef lower and pork prices were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle was .58 cent lower at $1.2790 a pound; April feeder cattle was .13 cent lower at $1.5045 a pound; May lean hogs gained 1.23 cents to $.7608 a pound.
