Geneva's Swedish Days begins six-day run

The 69th Swedish Days Festival opened Tuesday and continues through Sunday in and around downtown Geneva.

Much of the action occurs on South Third Street with food booths, entertainment and a carnival. There are also plenty of kids events and bands play every day on the central stage.

Saturday features the Swedish Days 5K and the Granquist Music Competition. The annual parade is 1 p.m. Sunday.
