Gurnee water main project underway

Gurnee work crews have begun replacing the water main along Hunt Club Road on the west side of the village. The project got underway Tuesday, according to a village news update published Friday. Crews will replace the water main that runs along Hunt Club Road between Wentworth Road and Wildflower Lane. As part of the project, a new sidewalk will be added to increase pedestrian access. The project is expected to run for the next couple months, according to the village.
